If the Hotel Nivelles-Sud of the Van der Valk group has enjoyed an exemplary reputation for years in Walloon Brabant and elsewhere in Belgium, it is thanks to the restaurant it hosts within its walls!
Recently renovated, just like the whole of our hotel, our dining area offers multiple possibilities for dining, whether you have a room at the hotel or are passing through the Nivelles region. Please note that this space has a children’s corner equipped with games and a TV, to best entertain your child during your meal.
The restaurant, for a gastronomic break
Because the quality of our service also depends on the quality of our plates, we offer you to sit at one of the tables of our restaurant open every day of the week. On the menu, you will have the choice between various dishes of Belgian and French inspiration, as well as seasonal specialties, cooked and prepared with special care. In season, don’t miss our game, our mussels or our asparagus dishes!
Some dishes are also part of the house’s specialties and delight the taste buds of regular guests, such as our famous beef tagliata.
Our chef, Cédric Tennstedt (former chef of the Vieux Maronnier in Nivelles), makes a point of honor to sublimate fresh and quality products, and to twist them with his personal touch. All our dishes are prepared on site in our kitchen by a brigade attentive to satisfy your every desire. We offer vegetarian dishes and an exclusively vegetarian buffet on request.
The brasserie
Do you prefer a quick and easy meal? It’s also possible! We will then direct you to the «Bistro» part of our restaurant in Nivelles, where you can sit at a table equipped with sockets to enjoy your meal and work alone or in coworking.
On the menu, we offer a menu consisting of typical Belgian and classic dishes from breweries, as well as small restaurants, pasta and quality burgers.
The buffets
Our dining area also includes a «live-cooking» area where are regularly prepared unlimited buffets of first quality, lunch for business lunch, Friday and Saturday evening, or Sunday for brunch.
